PROJECT OVERVIEW

• Upgrading of the existing Bulk water supply pipelines with the addition of a 9,2 km long 800 mm GRP Rising main through residential and farm land.
• Pipeline designed for a flow rate of 735 ?/s.
• Construction is phased over a couple of years as funding becomes available.
• Challenges faced are construction within a build-up residential suburb. Major and minor roadway crossings as well as river bridge crossings.
