• This project is located in Mbizana Local Municipality in the OR Tambo District in the Eastern Cape.
• This new Greenfields section of the N2 Wild Cost Toll Highway starts east of the Kulumbe Village Interchange and extends to Mzamba where the route re-joins the existing R61 at the Mtamvuna River bridge towards Port Edward.
• The total length of the new construction is 11.30 km.
• The Mpahlane and Mzamba Rivers are crossed and new bridges are to be constructed. These bridges are approximately 180m and 330m long.
• Two new Interchanges will be constructed at km 28.54 and the Mzamba Police station.
• Implementation of Community Development projects including public walkways, pedestrian underpasses, service and access roads.
• Provision of road signs and road markings.
